The Longest Domestic Warranty in New Zealand!

7 YEAR DOMESTIC USE WARRANTY: For registered Oleo-Mac equipment used around the home by the original purchaser, and for tasks that do not generate any income. There are minimum servicing requirements to validate this warranty. They are straight forward and will help keep your Oleo-Mac performing well.

Warranty CONDITIONS

Parkland Products Ltd (Parkland) provides a 7 Year Domestic Use Warranty to original purchasers of new Oleo-Mac products bought from Parkland. The warranty covers the repair or replacement of any part found to be defective in material and/or workmanship provided that the purchase is registered within 30 days of purchase via:

1. Parkland’s authorised Oleo-Mac dealer, or
2. Online at www.oleo-mac.co.nz, or
3. Posting the completed Warranty Registration Form back to Parkland.

Tip: Confirm your warranty has been registered online at www.oleo-mac.co.nz or email info@oleo-mac.co.nz with your details and product serial number.

This 7 Year Domestic Use Warranty applies to:

• The original purchaser and is not transferable (proof of purchase including date, model & serial number required).
• Domestic uses around the home, and for tasks that do not generate any income. (See above for information on 1 Year Commercial and 3 Month Hire Use Warranties).
• Equipment that has had a minimum of 3 basic services by an authorized Oleo-Mac Service Agent using only genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts as follows:

1. First Service within 2 years of purchase.
2. Second Service within the following two years (by year 4 since purchase).
3. Third Service within the following two years (by year 6 since purchase).

VERY IMPORTANT - If any of these requirements are not met, the warranty reverts to a standard 2 Year Domestic Use Warranty.

This 7 Year Domestic Use Warranty does NOT cover:

• Fair wear and tear.
• Service work carried out by anyone without Parkland’s expressed authorisation.
• Power equipment that has been subject to misuse, neglect, negligence, or any accident or damage suffered as a result thereof, or has been operated in a way contrary to the operating instructions, or has been modified in any way.
• Service requirements for normal and regular maintenance including lubricants, tuning, and adjustments.
• Repairs made necessary by normal wear, dirt, abrasives, moisture, rust, corrosion, varnish or other similar conditions.
• Maintenance and sharpening of the power equipment caused by normal wear, or repairs to the equipment caused by lack of maintenance, including lack of lubrication or incorrect lubrication.
• Damage or seizure of the product due to engine tuning different to that required in the owner’s manual, or failure resulting from the use of incorrect fuel/oil mix for the engine.
• Any indirect or consequential loss, damage, injury or expense arising from any defect or malfunction of Oleo-Mac product(s), including rental charges, loss or damage to personal property, or loss of revenue.
• Blades, drivers, blade bolts and nuts, starter assemblies, nylon heads, drive shafts, bars and chains (damage to these items being beyond the manufacturer’s control). Any misuse from contact with rocks, concrete or other structures is not covered by this warranty.
• Damage caused by continued operation of the machine or related equipment after it is known to be defective.
• Rental of another machine or related equipment while repairs are in progress. Transportation costs for equipment and/or parts. Telephone, facsimile and/or other related communication expenses.

1 YEAR COMMERCIAL USE WARRANTY: For Oleo-Mac equipment used by the purchaser to derive any form of income or tangible reward. Such commercial activities might include: * Use on sportsFelds, club grounds, golf clubs, * Use on council parks and gardens, *Use on income-producing farms or homesteads, *Agricultural use. This warranty does not cover equipment rented, hired or leased to any user.

COnditions for 1 year commercial use warranty ARE AS LISTED ABOVE FOR THE 7 YEAR DOMESTIC WARRANTY WITH THESE EXCEPTIONS:-

• The minimum servicing requirements as set out above and listed just below do not apply. Please see your Oleo-Mac's Operator Manual for individual servicing requirements.
  (These are the conditions that do not apply: First Service within 2 years of purchase. Second Service within the following two years (by year 4 since purchase). Third Service within the following two years (by year 6 since purchase).

• Failure to comply with warranty conditions will not result in the 1 Year Commercial Use Warranty defaulting to a standard 2 year warranty.

3 MONTH HIRE USE WARRANTY: For Oleo-Mac equipment which is rented, hired or leased for any period of time.

Conditions for 1 year commercial use warranty aRE AS LISTED ABOVE FOR THE 7 YEAR DOMESTIC WARRANTY WITH THESE EXCEPTIONS:-

• The minimum servicing requirements as set out above and listed just below do not apply. Please see your Oleo-Mac's Operator Manual for individual servicing requirements.
